Actually yes, my parents and I split a whole beef. 302 lbs with processing worked out to be $1.59/lb
I got my steaks cut 1" thick! Most of the roasts cut into chuck steak. The hamburger is about 90% lean. This is the all natural corn fed variety, no hormones! I knew the farmer!

We used to buy a 1/2 steer and that would do us for a good while. Don't have a freezer any more - got tired of falling into those dumb chests trying to find something for dinner.
