Might want to boost that CA too,... I'd shoot for about 410 if you want it in ballance with 8DKH (that's a guess on ballance but it's pretty close)

You know, I've heard that, but anytime I try to boost it it just settles down to the 375 range (as in within a few days). I figure it's happy were it's at, and I don't want to force it otherwise. I've got a calcium reactor and run kalkwasser reactor with my auto top-off. What's the problem with it being a little out of natural balance with the alk (keep in my, this tank has zero sand in it, so some of the demands are not what are experienced in normal sand laden tanks).

I saw one as a kid,.. but I haven't since 1998 or so. I've never had to setup an appointment to see one.
