Satellite was not an option initially, it was just too slow and ended up not working that well. I dunno what they changed, but they made it work when they tested out here, that pretty much old me (and cable was never an option, they quoted me some outrageous per-foot price to have cable run out here, it was well into the 4$ figures for the number of miles they were going to lay.
BTW, I've NEVER had trick-or-treaters out here...
