Whats the most pathetic thing you have ever done to post on TRT

I have stopped at a McDonalds that had a pay for net terminal and checked in, but I never approached a stranger in an airpost and gave them a sob story biout dying mom and needing to check email, or did I?

Done it a few times at starbucks !

I take the laptop geocaching with me and I checked while "borrowing" an un secured Wireless access point that was in the area. I now have a cellphone wireless card for it so I dont have to borrow time from others anymore :P

We used to have PDA's in our service trucks. We were told not to use them for internet access after one tech rang up a $1700 phone bill (not me ) but we did it anyway.

I was sitting in a Bar once with my laptop and I snagged a wireless signal from the buisness next to me,... no wep key

Posted in 2 airports waiting on a plane.

Work all the time of course.

I even go to friends houses and borrow their computers

But the worst ever I think was the time I was using a dialup connection that connected at 7 K/S (not your standard 54) and still trying to surf TRT it took forever to get anywhere

Hmmm,

I've made a few posts at the Portland airport on their free wireless. I've been on TRT camping with wireless internet. I've used our little HMI's on our Robot cells at work to post a few times. (HMI is a little industrial PC installed in an electrical cabinet, it's got a little membrane keyboard that's harder then crap to type on since it is positioned vertically) Alt-tabbed out of the Wonderware screens a few times on our other terminals in the casting area to make posts. I'd say sometimes you might think I have some sort of addiction issue.

Edit: Here's a pic of an HMI. Try typing on that keyboard.

I have called up friends on trips when driving somewhere and have them look on TRT and start reading me posts.

Duct taped the wife and kid in the closet in the next room so i could lock the door and finish answering a post without interruption.
