So tell me more about your critter. I've seen them, but never 'played' with one. Will they just chill out and watch TV or would they run away? What do they eat? Do they bite? What is their lifespan?

Dragons are probably one of the easiest lizards to keep. they are very docile (unless you get one with issues). Mine is content to sit on my lap in the evening when i come home from work and we both watch the simpsons together (he will run if he wants excercise). their needs are simple... heat lamp during the day and no less than 70 or so degrees at night (and a little sunlight when possible). they eat the regular reptile stuff: worms, crickets, certain veggies. they lick water so i only spray him down once or twice a week and he gets a warm bath on staurday. they don't bite and even if they do they don't have much in the way of teeth. not sure about the lifespan but they live a while compared to many critters.
I am torn between HR puffenstuff and Mongo...

We named ours Cricket... but she really seemed like a cricket. And I love the irony.
Before Andy figured out that she was a she, he was going to name her "smaug" after a certain dragon of Hobbit lore.
Lemme see if I can find a good pic of her.
