What otc cold/sinus works for u?

Okay I have tried everything from nyquil to tylenol cold and sinus. Nothing helps at all! What have you guys used that works really well?
Have:
Sinus congestion
chest congestion
cough
fever
runny nose

BTW: Zicam is a total rip off and out right fraud if you ask me!

Go to the doctor and try some Thera flu hot liquid kind.

been to doc, gave antibiotic for upper respiratory infection but wouldn't give me anything for the actual symtoms that are killing me. Thera Flu is last resort cause the taste is ruff, but may have to go that route.

I use Airborne anytime I'm around large groups of people or feel something coming on. Haven't been sick in 2 years.

Wife swears by the stuff (airborne) , Zicam I believe works best if used right after exposure or first symptoms start to show but once you got something its not going to help alot

I use airborne or my own herb coctail... you could try claritin but no promise there either. usually once it gets so bad there is little you can do about it but hole up in bed.

UGH! I'm going thru the same thing right now. The cough is especially annoying. Personally, I stay away from any medications except the occasional fever reducing aspirin. Sooner or later this too shall pass (hopefully sooner).

Well went behind the counter and got the tylenol severe cold with the phsuephedrin(sp?) Worked like a charm! I have gone a full hour without coughing my back out since taking first dose. Yippee!!!!!
I used the Zicam as soon as I felt the least bit of congestion cause I couldnt go thru this again, didn't help at all.
I am going to pick up the airborne and keep myself and the kids on it for the rest of the school year and future school terms if it works. They are constantly bringing home virus's so as soon as we get better we get it again. Maybe this will keep the bugs at bay.
