What do you get when you couple a new garage foundation w/3" of Rain?

I thought this morning that it gave a "block" from ground water from the stream making its way to my basement. The basement sump pit was not full, I turned on the sump just to test it. I came home about an hour ago, the basement was dry!! Didn't look at the sump...oops. I went to the kitchen for some pizza, heard a noise. No problem, just the sump pump running. Oops again...the output goes right into the garage foundation.
So I now have a pond maybe 8"+ deep, I redirected the pipe to the drainage pipe that I buried when the foundation went in
So the sump pump is off, and hopefully the water will drain off by tomorrow

Next 2 days will be sunny & dry

I put the sump pump I use for the pool in & started it up in the foundation area. The level has already dropped maybe 4".
SOme due to the sump, some due to drainage, & some due to the fact the basement sump is no longer dumping water into the area

Everything is back to "normal" for now. There was about 12" of water on one side. The fllor hasn't been poured yet, which is why the water was creating a pool. The garage are needs to be levelled off, and maybe 4-5" of gravel put down, then the garage floor. So it will actually be much higher then where it is now (dirt).

Main problem was the sump pump pumping water into the area
I setup a the drain that I buried during excavation. Once the area is graded properly & the driveway is in all the water will drain to thru this 30' 6" drain which drops in height about 12" & empties into a dry creek bed

Sounds like it will work fine once its all done

Water level dropped overnight & water drained off
There is still one low area that has water, mainly because it has to drain down past 4' of foundation.
I turned the sump pump on to drain more water below the house & check the perimter drain. Everything back to normal
I should have taken a picture, kinda funny when I think of it now
