That WAS my fave, had froends that went to Ga Tech and we always went there for lunch when visiting ATL, but just recently found a great hole-in-the-wall pl;ace in Spartanburg called Ricky's, They make their own chili and slaw, both with some secret ingredient in them that gives them the BEST peppery hot taste with really fresh buns, so that the perfect dog is slaw, cheese, chili, a little mayo, NO ONIONS ( yeah, I know, hard to believe...) and BIG FAT FRENCH FRIES deeo-fried in real fat with ketchup and a little mustard.
Never thought I'd beat ATL's Varsity dog. I might get Ricky's to bring us some dogs to the Walnut Grove Seaquarium BBQ this spring.

It all depends on the dog.
If it's just a plain ol' Oscar Meyer wiener at home, then it's mustard, onions and cheese.
If it's a hot dog cooked on a stick over a campfire, just mustard will do.
If it's brats at home, then I fry up peppers and onions and eat it all together with spicy brown mustard.
If I'm at a real hot dog stand, it's gotta be Chicago style with sports peppers, cukes, onions, tomatoes, relish and mustard...oh, and don't forget the celery salt.
Now I need a dog fix!

It depends on my mood.
I like hot dogs with ketchup, mustard, and often times pickle slices or kraut. On brats I love lots of kraut with some mustard. I am not a huge onion fan, but I do liek a good chilli sauce over my dogs.

After all this talk last night, we ended up going to Ricky's in the truck for supper.
Cheapest Saturday night out in AGES!
