what are you doing this christmas eve day?

Hello to all of my dear friends at TRT.
Just my official wish to each and every one of you for a wonderful christmas, chanukah, quanza (sp?) or whatever holiday your family believes in and celebrates. Please travel safely and love completely and remember to eat, drink and be merry!!!

So how are you spending your christmas eve day? I am just finishing up baking 8 dozen sugar cookies with a new recipe that my sister gave me, and I have to say that I've never had an easier recipe!
Next I have to go to town and get a balloon bouquet for my grandfathers 85th birthday which is also tomorrow. Then I need to come home and clean house for my families visit tomorrow, and get my cooking planned out, and then it's time to pop in a christmas movie and veg on the couch and gaze at the tree and get lost in the lights... I just love my tree and lights, that's always been my favorite part of the holiday.

I just did a partial water change because my skimmer is going crazy. I think one of my larger live rocks that I got a few months ago still has some die off going on. I think thats what that black stuff is that flakes off the rocks for the first few months is. Would it work to take the rock out and scrub some of it off with a brush and some salt water? I hope everyone has a happy holidays. Here are some pics.
