We're Saving Energy, Right???
So you think using those curly little energy saving light bulbs save money and protect the environment? Maybe Congress should rethink this.

When incandescent lightbulbs are outlawed, only outlaws will have incandescent lightbulbs.

It's refreshing to know that there are a handful of politicians who have some sense!
So does that mean we have to change this smiley by 2014?---->

Its physics, sadly coating the inside of the tubes with organic compost doesn't give the same effect

This is going to be another thing we have to throw down the sewer since the dump will charge us to take them.

Many household heating and air conditioning thermostats have mercury in them. Quite a bit too.

All flourescent tubes contain mercury, not just the curly ones. How many business have reg flourescent tubes?
Might be easier to count how many don't
Remember 911?
Part of the aftermath was the hazardous waste of all the at mercury from all those tubes being released at once
I have over 200 CFL bulbs for my Halloween & Christmas display, I "save" 8,000 watts an hour as a result while the display is lit
