Weekend project


measured off the 20' sq fri night, leveld it off with a pick and shovel and a lotta sand, laid it out in 20 mph breeze and started fillin last night, finished it this afternoon.
Hope the wife likes her 4x16 wading pool, I need to figure galloage for IO

Skimmer still needs install, and that 1000gph pump is a joke I think I need a 3000 gph pressure rated to push water thru 100' of coiled black pipe under the tarp on the left as a solar heater

Hey Doug,
I use about 125' of garden hose up on my roof with an old Little Giant pump for circulation for my hill billy solar system. Works good. Yesterday I noticed a 7-8 degree difference between the water going in and coming out of the hose. I'm thinking about this system in the future:

Hey Doug. A solar blanket works great for warming the water. One for that size pool wouldn't cost much.

The cover tends to help heat it,
And yes on bare bottom, my neighbors are over 100 yards away
