Id like to set up a site for my tank but I dont want to have 550 characters in the link as with the free ones.Does anyone know of a relatively inexpensive way to go? Id like to do a gallery and write up. My wifes site is like $150 a year.

You might want to look into a blog like blogspot. Ohterwise, there are a lot of places that host for around $10/month. If you want your own domain name it'll cost around $35 a year. Some hosting places offer it for free with an annual contract. I use www.hostmysite.com and I've been really happy with them.

Check out Arishost too. They will park your domain (let you choose the name and host it) and give you 50meg of space for $30 a year. I have used them for 4 years now and they have been helpful and reliable. They use unix servers. You get like 10 email addys with the acct I think.

150 a year is cheap. for a good site, I pay 120 every three months. If You look at mine You will say what. My site is for people that use it for the storage and bandwidth that they pay me for. But my web page is just sitting there doing nothing. LOL

I got mine from my ISP, Comcast. 25Megs which I don't htink I've exceeded yet. At least they are not charging me more. It came "free" with my access.
And you're right, that is pretty sad. I certainly don't do it for a living, as you can tell from my site, but as bad as it is, it's a little (but only a little) better than that one!
