Exclamation

Did you see her age?

It happened a year ago when she was a mere 60 years old.
You can't discriminate by age in Canada and I bet Australia has a similar law.
Still, the story is really shocking. Who is gonna pay for all that?

Oh good grief. Granted, she is 61, so, yes, I will give that it might have been very traumatic for her, BUT to be so traumatic that she had to give up her job... baloney. I hope she is shot down by their courts.

I to want to know about the sharks..did they all survive? What caused the tank to crack? etc. I am trying to think if I ever heard about this on the news 2 years ago. Was she the ONLY one there? Or were there others and they managed the crisis just fine?

This world is becoming to sue happy.

Agreed..one thing that seems to be leaving our society is the ideal of taking responsibility for one's OWN actions. (refering to McDonald's woman..not the aquarium lady (she wasn't at fault..but no one seems to believe in "accidents will happen" anymore)

i'd have to admit, i'd be a little freaked out by suddenly being put in chest deep water, blood rushing from a cut on my ankle, and sharks surrounding me... however, to have to quit a job in sales because of sharks, there must have been some pre-existing issues already there...

I am going to sue you now Casey cause your comment has created undue stress in my life and I am going to have to quit my job due to the psychological trauma. :P

weii im gonna play devils advocat on this one may be she was actualy stressed due to what aeras she worked in may be she was a sales rep for a fish co. and she went store to store selling sharks to them and now.... ok i went far enough with that

but i can see where there are certian jobs like working around or on boats and i can see how the stress may be caused by the thought of being in the water bleeding near shark inhabited waters but i guess if it took a year to get to cort then it couldent have been too bad

I want to put together a fund on behalf of the sharks. We need to hire them a lawyer to sue the lady for being in the way of thier crash landing pad and to sue the aquarium for better living conditions.

People are stupid!!!
I hired an auto technician 4 weeks ago and in the first 4 weeks he damaged 4 cars in accidents and was caught taking a customers car home for the night and arrested for soliciting a prositute in the vehicle. I fired him and he is suing us for wrongful termination. I will have to go to court and of course I think I will win. But we all know how the courts rule in favor of the underdog.
