Walnuts in the shell
Does anyone know where you can buy walnuts still in the shell this time of year?

You have nuts on your tree still?
Jon I really appreciate it, but I don't think you and Brooke want to fool with a 10lb sack of walnuts.

Wow walnuts for those little guys. I can round up some acorns if you like. We have a hippy store nearby that sells all that healthy stuff if you don't find anything and can pop in on the weekend.

LOL Don't call Daisy a rat! LOL
Cath they are too high in "something I read and can't remember right now". The walnuts are harder for them to open and it takes a good 1/2 hour. Good for their teeth and gives me a break while they sit still.
Jon, LOL now I got you.
Phish, here's Daisy
and Clifford a little older

Faaaaantastic, Jerel! Daisy & Clifford have grown! Wonderful photos, too!
When I was a boy, I had two, just about the same size as the first pic of your squirrels, that I raised. Such clowns they were! We fed them peanuts, dried corn on the cob, and English Walnuts. I don't know if that's a proper diet but they thrived on it!

Dick, You're not going to believe this (OK OK You'll believe it) I make all their food from scratch.
and You're right. They are about the funniest things I've ever been around.
I'll have to get new uptodate pictures soon. They're really a lot bigger now.

We never had squirrels. I did not know they could be so docile. There is a big budda belly it looks like in one of those pictures.
We had little baby opposums come by every night though and they would peel grapes and eat them.
Tomorrow at lunch let me stop by this place called Henry's which is a natural food store and check on the walnut supply. I will have on steel toed boots and jeans instead of sandals and a tie dye shirt but hopefully I will avoid all the evil glares from those non meat eaters in there.
