Thanks to the efforts of Tom "Beemer" Wyatt, the town of Walnut Grove, SC, has replaced it's aging Crown Vic police car with this shiny new one:
Way to go, "Beemer"!!!

Hope that one stays in a bit better condition than the one by the side of Mr. Wyatt's house.

The funny part is , when BMW built the new plant in SC. They did donate a Bimmer as a state police car.
I havn't seen it in a while. It might be on the other side of Toms house. LOL

Heh!
good one, Dick!
They put the drive on the right side for two reasons, one, to limit the number of cars available for salvage, and two, so most of the SC State Troopers won't have to get out of the car to write you a ticket...
btw, the old bimmer will not be there long, I am pulling the motor and tranny and rear end out and disposing of the old E-30 bimmer, building my son a new (to him) 90 325i from a local worn out vehicle, It should be a beauty!
then there's always the weekends and the M...

Tom just found the perfect job. Now he can drive like normal (bat out of hell) and not worry about those pesky piles of speeding tickets.

HEY!!!
Andy rode with me from the ARC meeting to the after-meeting meeting and didn't even let go of the dash once ( to grab the OS handles...)
still working on Cath, she doesn't weem interested in making the trip to Sevierville in under two hours, I told her we could prolly get Dick to talk to the HP in Tennessee at least...
BTW, Dick, the offer still stands for a maintenance weekend, I'll bring the truck and some biog wheeled barrels , salt, etc in exchange for some skimmate beer... I think Cath will come if I take the truck...
