evening everyone
I finaly drained my sump and stuck all the leftover pumps in a vinegear bath
if I do this again, I'm not doing a 70 gal sump
all I can say is YUCK

Not so much a joke, it was good for stopping light leakes from the floors of Hueys
A lot of difference between by the book maint/repairs and keeping a combat airframe mission ready, at least back in the day

been cooler , cloudy and windy, barely 80 on a good day, the pools cooled off to 71-72F

I worked hueys for a few years. Stuff was great in a pinch on radiator hoses too.
