check that out. Pretty sweet really if you dont have a my acct with verizon it is free to sign up and then once you sign up you get this backup assitant for free. And then it auto backups your contact daily so if you add someone to your phone it will back it up to their server. Also once you have your contacts on their server you can view them and make changes and what not. And one cool thing is there is an auto sync with view them online so i can add people to my phone contacts from my computer alot easier than doing it from my phone then click update then as soon as i click update i look at my phone and they are there.

It will still show on your phone as 1.99 but as long as your have a my acct with verizon it wont show on your bill.

I dont know about cell phones, have had one thru work for years. about 6 months ago US Cellular got covereage where I like, my work cell will work, the nextell I had didnt. Wife and Daughter got hooked up with Sprint, (SUCK) they work out here off USC tower, no roaming. When i bought my trac phone before going out to Tenn, they told me it would pickup whatever carrier was hot in the area, thats why per min was a little more, well it doesn't
