update to LFS owner shot...
As some of you recall a while back a friend of mine was killed at his shop.
they caught both men that did it. the 1st went to trial and was convicted on all counts in almost record time.. the what to do with him was just done.
the second guy is coming to trial very soon.
here is the local newpaper story for it.

Thanks for the update Tim,,,glad to hear that justice gets to work in this situation,,,Give our best to Tina during this time, i'm sure it has been tough on her to have to go thru this part of the process.

The only problem is that life in prison equals parole in what? Five years? At least there was some justice.

First 2 paragraphs of the cited article:
"More jurors favored life in prison than death for the man convicted of murdering pet store owner Kenneth L. Tull in a verdict handed up Thursday.
Seven of 12 jurors found that mitigating circumstances in Jason Walker's life, including his impoverished childhood and lack of parental guidance, outweighed aggravating factors, such as his past criminal record, enough to justify sparing him a death sentence."
Apperently, they care more about Walkers alleged tough life to the point that they ignored the most important fact, Kenneth L. Tull got a death sentence because a couple of scum sucking lowlifes wanted something for nothing
I would be more in favor of life imprisonment if the scrotes cell was plastered with blown up pics of the crime scene and autopsy photos. his in-cell tv ought to play the victims home movies and stuff 24/7. I am not totally cold and heartless, i think all convicted killers and rapists etc, should get the same treat, and have one dull rusty razor blade in their cell.
That way it wouldnt be up to a bunch of squeemish jurors to make the perp ante up

Unless it's Federal I don't believe life in means life in. Maybe I'm wrong........I hope so.

I don't know what to say. An eye for an eye. They need to lock them up and give them all a weapon. let them killed each other. Our system fails the victims all the time.

If that guy gets out I think that there might have to be some sort of MMR parole board hearing.
That vermin should die in his little cell...lots of us had unhappy childhoods. I am glad at least they got a conviction and the sentence for the families sake. It is unimaginable what they had to go through.
Sorry to vent, but I have zero pity for the murderer...zero.

P.S. I do not understand juries. I got bounced on my two summons after the questionaire, so guess you have had to have been on one to see how this is not open and shut.
