Yah since we were all planning to work sat into the weekend to catch up. , i swear winte is busier than during fire season. Helicoptor tankers are High Maint aircraft, during fire season we have to provide spare parts to keep em in the air, but traditionally winter(slow) months they get their FAA mandated maint, we have 14-15 company owned or leased helos that all fall into that category, as well as a the maint/warrenty part for the Malaysian/Italian/Korean helos.

we have 5 helos in Canada that we ship parts to, as well as 2 canadian helos in the hangar shop getting total rebuilds now, airframe up refurb as well as upgrading controls to newest digital flight and Nav controls

No I recently( 3 mos ago got into it after 17.5 yrs working in home health and dealing with Hospice) but I have always been an aircraft freak, can fly a Cessna in a pinch and have stepped out of perfect;y good airplane. Its almost my dream job cept the 33% pay cut, but that goes with being pushed out of old job, I am happy and getting by , and thats IMPORTANT TO ME
