Well...just finished my first PLC with touchscreen and testing features project at work. It took 1 1/2 years to get them to go ahead on one. Now the parts for another are already sitting on my desk.
They think I can make one in a couple of days now....there is not a whole lot of slack in a huge wiring and programming project.

You just described my job. Who likes probabilistic risk analysis and estimating budget needs 20 years out?

I'll take anything above 45(for the low) at this point. This back and forth weather pattern we seem to be stuck in is for the birds!

That's the problem, our budget is approved annually. But we have to forecast a few decades if we want to get back to the moon.

me joking about how unsafe where my power strip is.... not funny anymore. I was cleaning the tank and splashed water into it. I heard crackling and smelled smoke Its not like I did nt recognize this was an issue, there simply was not enough cord to put it elsewhere. I actually dumped water out of it

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.

May not be funny - but it is exciting! If your girlfriend complains just tell her that you were planing to share a glass of wine with her in front of a crackling fire
P.S.
I tried 3 times to spell the french word that aut to be where the word "Girlfriend" is, and failed so miserably that it was just better to replace the word.

I'll replace that fancy french word with a four letter word in a couple months anyway

For today the tank will be dark with just the skimmer plugged in to an extension cord. It just wasn't something I wanted to try testing overnight while I slept
