try this at home and then away from home...

Got this in an e-mail. There will be my fingernail marks in many places for the next while... too curious not to try it

>A policewoman who travels all over the US and gives seminars

>When we visit toilets, bathrooms, hotel rooms, changing rooms,

That is a myth. Mirrors are made two ways, one of which involves a clear glass layer over the reflective material (gap between reflection and actual object), usually silver. The other is called a "first surface" mirror, where the reflective material is laid right on the surface (fingernail touches its own reflection). Neither are two-way mirrors.

Ok, party poopers, So now I have to make noseprints on every mirror in the changing rooms and bathrooms??? I've always wondered about what some strange people might pull against the unsuspecting public.

btw Galleon, if you use your fingertip instead of your fingernail there IS a gap? Anybody know why that is?

I'm not as concerned about two way mirrors as about the video cameras that are just about everywhere, it seems.

I don' practice, and don't condone, shop lifting, but it's kind of spooky to think that in most any store there are cameras watching you. Yes, in the fitting rooms, too.
