Tragic News This Past Week.
This past week, on Tuesday, while I was at work I recieved a call I always feared. A lady called me, and told me my Rachel was in a bad car accident. I could hear Rachel crying in the background, so I knew she was at least alive. She crashed her 00 camaro on the 166 east, a real bad, real unsafe road. She had over corrrected, and flipped her car.
Well, by the time I got to the scene, which was about an hour away, she was already air lifted to the hospital in Santa Maria. My uncle (a CDF Chief) got there right behind me, and started takling to his CDF guys. My heart sank when they started whispering to him. I could have sworn they were telling him she had passed away.
After seeing the car, it was upside down, a door skin ripped off, an axle ripped off, back hatch ripped off, and it was just demolished.
When we got to the hospital, we found out all internal injuries were fine, there were absolutely none, thank god. Her brain was fine, she had movement in her legs, etc. Unfortunately, they had to take my Rachel's left arm off, at just above the elbow. Im grateful that she is alive. I dont know what I would do without my little sweetie. And it could have even been worse, at least shes right handed, she could have lost both, she could be paralized, she could be dead.
So after a long 4 days in the hospital, shes now in a rehab facility in Santa Barbara, I guess the top rehab place in the state. So she can learn to do every day things with only one arm.
Fortunately, my Rachy Roo is high in spirits. And she is accepting that she did this to herself, and didnt kill anyone else in the process. Im so glad for her, and proud of her, for being so strong and brave. I know shes taking it a whole lot better than I would be. Hell, shes taking it better than I AM, and its not even me in her position.
I just figured since Im on TRT so much, and the people here are so great, you all are basically my friends. And I kinda need to let it out. I wasnt sure if I should keep it in. But I also didnt want to "hide" this incident, like I was embarassed, or ashamed. I just kinda thought it was right to vent, and let it be known.
Well, Thanks all, Joe

Hang in there and be strong for her, the rehab is going to be long and painful, but you can do it man.
Please give her all my best wishes for a quick recovery and adjustment. If you really love this woman, nows the time to prove it, she i sgoing top need all your love and all the strength you can muster. Best of luck to the both of you .

I don't know you but am so happy to hear that she's okay. We lost someone in our family two weeks ago in a car crash and it's so scary. My prayers are with her.

Thank you guys. Its so hard because shes an hour and a half away from me. And with the bills I gotta pick up now, I just cant drive and see her everynight. Its down to every weekend. Which is tough, because since we've been together, she never sleeps alone.

I am really sorry to hear about this It makes us think about what's really important. I'm glad that she's doing well and recovering, but very sorry about what happened.
Stay strong, I know you both can make it through,

So Sorry about what happened. But happy to see that you both are handling this time in your life very well. you both need each other right now and i know that since i have been here at TRT i feel that these people (miles and miles away) still feel like my friends too. And it always cheers me up to here that so many people around the world are thinking of me. i dont know how much Rachel knows about the TRT but i think it might put at least a smile on her face to here how many people are praying and thinking of her right now. i know my wife gets a kick out of it.
