Tour of Gardens - 2007

I wanted to start the garden post. Every one with a garden....Food or Flowers post some pics lets see your garden!!!!

We started are garden a month ago. It is a small one but here are the fruits of our labor so far.

It will be a while for us I usually get my flower beds planted around mothers day

i hope to start some seeds soon up here, need to get the second bed laid out and started too.

Were just getting the warm weater.

I'm still trying to get grass in the front yard. We are in a very sandy area and grass just wont grow. Think I will have to bring in some topsoil or something. My gerber daisy and gladiolas are sprouting tho.

My garden isn't really going yet, but my dogwood is in full bloom



The red azaleas enjoy their spot under the dogwood. The house that you see is my neighbors. I am planning on quit trying to grow grass in my shady backyard. Ground cover and a wandering path would be pretty.

This is Dad's yard in front of his apartment at a retirement community where he lives. That's St. Fiacre in the background - patron saint of gardeners and cabbies
