Really? That's weird... we weren't supposed to have any severe weather. Hm... although they did test all the sirens today. Yep, Nikolai was out back just howling along with them. (Which was pretty darn funny!)
Well, I guess I'll go flip on the weather channel. Weatherbug isn't showing anything at all. How weird. Are you sure they aren't just testing the sirens? They'd doing it again here tonight at 7...

Have you been fragging those zooanthids that make your fingers go numb? Heh... radar is clear here - and there. I know you're just antsy for some good spring storms - aren't we all? (in the midwest, at least)

Does handling slimy zooanthids make one want to go play in nasty weather?

I was actually going to ask if he'd been smoking crack, but figured that it was more likely that he'd be exposed to palytoxin.
It won't cause delusions, but, ironically enough, acts as a potent coronary vasoconstrictor... which means I really am studying at the moment. (Although I doubt a vignette with palytoxin poisoning will be on the exam. But angina will be - same concept. Still, I could hypothetically treat it. Hypothetically as in, assuming the victim made it alive to the hospital.)
Ok, back to drugs. I am bored out of my mind, and I can't get this stuff to stay in there. Grrr...

Jeremy,
Was that storm good enough for you? I don't know about you, but we had golf ball sized hail! Thankfully we didn't lose power. I didn't really want to drag the generator out only to be knocked out by the hail! It seems to have calmed down around here. We still have a lot of cloud to ground lightening. I hope we can get the dog to sleep tonight. It looks like he will be enjoying ESPN all night while we sleep.

That has got to be one of the best "first" storms of the season ever! The only thing missing was the tornado sirens! I was standing 15 feet inside my garage and was still drenched from the blowing rain and hail. I just cleared a half inch of hail out of my garage. The ironic thing about this storm is that we just moved a desk into the garage, so we couldn't put any of the cars inside. A quick scan with the flashlight has not revealed any damage to them, so we are lucky. I hope others in the area are as lucky. It looks like the storms have passed. Maybe we will get a good nights sleep without interuptions from the dog!
