yeah.. short work day (night) ahead ... for me.... computer cabinet and kids bed should be delivered today. (hopefully they [ people delivering and putting it together the stuff ]will be here and gone before i wake up..) then i can put all the pc's back together and mine set the way i want it.. lol..

Chris, my wife asked me 2 things last night while I tuned into the spacewalk again

1. why do they do it at night CST?
2. what's the Borg contingency plan?

1. Crew day is based on when they launch, which always depends on the orbital mechanics of the space station. This flight launched at ~2am EST, and that's the middle of the crew day. With only 2 weeks on orbit, there's no benefit of trying to sleep shift (though the space station crew does do so), so they just keep going. I think the last flight had the EVAs around 9am, which was nice.
