To all you coffee lovers
I think this is my first post in Margaritaville. I know that margarita's fit more with the reef theme, and believe me I love margarita's. But in the general forum we talk about coffee every day, so maybe this should be named coffee shop?
Anyway I have a question. For years I have been searching for the best coffee brewing method. I haved tried drip, percolation, french press, and espresso. But for Christmas I asked for a vaccumm coffee maker, and my mother in law got one for me, and IT JUST CAME TODAY! Anyway, what do you all think is the best method? Are any of of you experienced with the vaccuum method?
BTW if you have been to Victoria and Alberts in Disney World, those pots they put on the tables, with the two globes and the candles underneath, are vacuum coffee pots, made by Cona.

I have the bodum santos.

Apparently vaccum brewing has an interesting history because it predates the drip method. For some reason, maybe convenience it was supplanted by percolation, then drip brewing. I think now they have made better mesh filters so it is becoming popular again.
I looked on the coffee forums, like here, for the best method, and they claim that is the best, but IDK.
