Morning everyone.
Got my Bimmer all spiffed up inside and out after all these storms already. Now it is time to go to HD and try and figure out how to make a shelf to mount the TV and a new sound bar that Costco had out on clearance yesterday for the floor sample. This thing has the sound bar, a subwoofer separate and DVD, CD, Tuner and IPOD dock built right in. The old stereo and all that clutter in the living room is out of here.
See you all in a bit..got an eight hour class on dive equipment maintenance and repair to attend as well.

Heya again.
Well my class got cancelled as I was the only student, so hopefully July 11th more folks will show up. I got Cynthia a new console anyway as she gave me her hand me down. Now we can take Nitrox classes.
To complement the TV I picked up a shelf and feet and tiles. Cynthia and I need to go back and get the trim tiles. Pictures of the whole project will be posted later if it turns out okay.

Not sure about everyone Doug, but there is stuff happening at Noob Manor.
This is my sound bar. It has a cable to the subwoofer that will be run under the house and the goal is a real sanitary look for it and the TV.
There was an old stand Cynthia made years ago, but we are doing a new one. It doesn't look like much yet, but a couple more coats of paint will help it. We are doing tiles on the top with a little pattern.
My keg blew right as I was ready for a cold one after the first coat. Dang it!!

Amy I guess I am too old to be hip. What exactly is an American Girl doll?
Cynthia has never done a tile project in her life, but with a little help here is the border part of the little TV cubby.
And here is the new stand for the TV and the sound bar that is much larger. The bar will mount to it and all the wires will be run tomorrow. She still has to learn the fine art of grouting tomorrow after the tiles set.
Cynthia picked out and laid out all the tiles, which is a hell of a lot more artistic than I could do.
