Got my laptop back, they put the hard drive in and I loaded it up, But it's done for the most part, I am a happy camper.

Coffee and left over cake from Mrs. KIA's birthday yesterday for breakfast today. Oh yeh, KIA - what kind is it?

Got home in the wee hours from an outdoor concert at someone home in the country. A good time was had by all, but I think a nap will be in order this afternoon.

Doug - I hope your back doesn't get too much of a work out again today.

Man, Perry- you all are doing a huge job on home improvement!

I am already ready for a nap, but this is the last chance to do the weed eating, at midnite to night no more power equipment till after the fall rains and fire season is cancelled

Morning folks.

Cynthia's vet tech friend Danika is coming over for brunch. I am making crab eggs benedict with avo and tomato. Grilled asparagus goes on top.

Soon as they are out of here to play with the horses I am going to finish up the trim and molding in the living and dining room. Then we will be serious about taking on the kitchen. All it needs is one more coat of paint, a tile backsplash, wood floors and the cabinets painted two tone green and bavarian cream.

I postponed my rescue diver class starting this week. It was too big to pile on top of my current projects.

Danika is going to be in a bikini contest, and I better go represent MMR and attend.

Now back to putting on the molding and trying to get through HD in less than an hour. Whiskey has to stop every ten feet and let someone else pet him.

Man putting in this molding is breaking in some angles in the compound mitre saw I didn't know people use. Of course..going around that one corner is two 22.5 degree cuts. It is going to take all day to do the downstairs, but it is coming out okay for an amateur.

Dumas is healthy and ready for his big move Wednesday. Most other years this would be a scene of him on a bunch of dirt, but we have gotten a lot of rain.

Danika did a lot better than I did riding. Cynthia got tossed off and is nursing a sore arm. It will be good to do a lot more riding now that Dumas will live 10 miles away.

Boy, doesn't Dumas look fat and happy? I should be able to get him back in shape before winter (and maybe me too).

Noob Manor is looking good - the dining/living room is done and ready for redecoration later this week. Then the kitchen, new tank, stairs, . . . . sigh - now that we've started we keep coming up with new projects!

Brunch was awesome, and now I am waiting for dinner to come off the grill - bourbon peppercorn steak and corn - YUM.

My friend Danika isn't competing tonight after all, so we get to go to bed early and cheer her on another night. Yes Doug - a (classy) photo or 2 came be arranged.
