The tank and the Wifes art
Well now my wife is getting impatient for the tank to be done! I think shes seen some of the close up shots of other members tanks and is wanting to paint! This bodes well for me! I mentioned this in the A.M. thread but she has her own website with her work, check it out and tell me what you think! Its "www.artbyraette.com" Shes doing about 2 to 4 pieces a week right now and her latest genre is realy starting to sell. They are kind of little comidy types of work. I hope she gets into the coral and stuff, I think she wants too. She has a couple of pieces she did some time back but hopefully the tank will bring more!

OK one more time, I think I hit the control button at about this point and lose my reply 
Anyway I went and peeked, kewl, dying to see her interptretation of reef scenes 
FWIW I am doing a lot of miles of rural Oregon and 120 miles of beach drive weekly so if she wants pics of anything in particular let me know and I will try and catch it on digicam. Not the best in the world, I would love a digital SLR but then again no one makes one in old Minolta MD lense format

Cool Doug! Any pics you have that you would like to see on canvas just let us know. Shell probably hold the pic till it strikes her and then shell go nuts on it. Anything she paints from someone elses pics, they get a signed and numbered print. She only does 50 to 100 prints each. If she could paint 20 hours a day, she would! She does work on commision also.

that is some nice work!
i do not think she would have any problems finding things paint inside a reef tank. anything from the whole picture to the most minute would come to life with her style!
