The peaches are ripe!

My Alberta peaches finally got ripe enough to pick today.

Sorry, I would post pics but then you'd all have slobber-ruined keyboards.

Our frost is finally gone, along with the snow. Through attrition a few plants died so I just popped new ones in. We have fresh out of the pony pack stuff now.

Sorry about your sucky weather Kell. Hope you don't transition from frozen to blazing in two days and get some sort of spring.

The past two days I've gotten roughly 8" of rain. It's supposed to hit 90 this weekend. Anybody know where I can buy a dehumidifier suit?

We were nice mid 70s a few days ago, hit near 100 today, I of course am loving it but I really have to get the raised beds dirted and planted or no tomatoes and zuk's
Love grilled zuchinni and I have developed a sliced tomato(big Romas work well)
with a spread of Feta, Cheddar or Pepper Jack, and a smidge of sour cream and or creamy horse radish, blue Cheese works well if you do primarily chicken on the BBQ, the other esp with the horse radish is a great side with steaks.
Slice the tomatoes and slather on the cheese stuff, high indirect heat till the cheese is the way you like it.
Another good one is too take plump chicken breasts, and hit em with the mallet a few times, then slit them with a filleting knife and stuffing it with your choice of Cheez, wrap it in ham slices with a toothpick to hold it, grill on hi heat for a few to sear it then dip in sauce and cook on indirect heat for about 10 min turning midway( at 350F) If you use proschutto or Italian style ham dip it in Italian dressng, then cook, another good one is to take crushed pineapple and linguisa, do the samurai chop and dice and stuff the chicken with that, brown on grill then add a slice of Mozzerella or Jack cheez and brush on the Teryaki sauce

Yup. I'm in N'East Texas so it was probably the same storm system y'all got.

Booger, wudnit?

Doug, you really ought to set up a "Grill Recipes" thread so we can all share ideas and get fat this summer.
