Thanksgiving After!!!

Hi All! Well how did your Thanksgiving Feast go? I feel quite full for having only one plate and moving is an effort at best!!
Wanted a piece of my mince meat pie but that will have to be my supper!! My son called and he and my 12 year old nephew were out hunting this morning and my nephew got a very large dry cow elk about 500lbs and my son got a spike bull elk and a 4 point mule deer as well.
I told my son I will help him cut it up with the idea of a couple of steaks floating my way!
How is everyone holding up after your feast!! Let's hear it!!

My 9 year old daughter was a big helper this year; she was so proud when Dad thanked her for cooking dinner

I didn't eat too much at dinner either. I saved room for the apple crisp my daughter made for dessert!

Went to Mom an Dad's for da feast,,,(wife was in Indy) sis and brother -in-law (and 3 kids) came after.went OK,took a "care package" of food home,no police/paramedics,,,all went well

Not having to call 9-1-1 at family gatherings is always a plus!

For the second year in a row we went to my wifes Ex;s house if that makes any sence. We dont have the typical husband ex husband relationship we were friends b4 they got divorced and there is no sence in fighting etc we all have to deal with kid issues like adults and its hard to teach the kids right and wrong etc if we dont agree and are not some sort of friends.

Hi All! My daughter called today and said she wants to give me some of the elk steaks because she does not want much of it so I had no problem accepting!!
Hopefully when they get pics developed, I can post a few of my nephew and son's hunting success!
