I don't do debt. I've got 32,000 miles out of a 23 year old, $775 bike so far and I'm rather proud of that
Plus it will hold 120MPH,.. I proved that all the way to San Diego one year,.. Okay,.. well not all the way,.. but for 150 miles or so.

Sounds like a solution to a problem here on the up-valley side of the county

Funny how as you get older, that sounds more dangerous then when we were kids. When I rode my GSX-R to California, we held over 130+ for almost the entire stretch on I-80. Now, that doesn't sound so appealing!

It beats you up to go that fast on an open faced light cruser,.. I had to back off just because I was tired.

Why do you think I live down valley
I could own a 20 year old single wide trailer without the land on the east side of the county or a 3000 square foot, stick built house in a nice neighborhood on the west For the same price.
Could you imagine trying to get a 300K loan on a 600 sq ft mobile home with no land

It's a bedroom community for Aspen That's why things are so expensive. Basalt, Carbondale and El Jebel are communities where the working folk for Aspen live. Unfortunately the billionaires have pushed the millionaires out of Aspen, raising the housing for the working folk. Since I hate the attitude that come with those life styles, I live down valley with real people that race cars, build hot rods and enjoy sitting on their redwood decks

Pedal bike, buddy! It gets good gas mileage. About 13 miles per peanut butter sandwich.
