Stuck pixels on an LCD screen

I purchased a Toshiba LCD for our bedroom last week, and last night I noticed 2 stuck pixels when the screen was black. I do understand that stuck (and dead) pixels are a risk you take with LCDs.

Googling the topic, I have read that sometimes they come back to life by themselves, and others have had success applying pressure to the area. Any personal experiences with stuck pixels on an LCD screen?

I deal with them all the time. Chances are they won't come back. Pushing will likely do additional damage not covered by warranty. Normally for warranty you need 3 or more pixels out. Since you just bought it, I would take it back.

Yep, catch them on the 30 day exchange policy. Stuck pixels are a pain, and most often they are permanent.
