thanks, actually it has been quite hard to find the info... around last evening we got desperate. we still havn't got much of an answer. I mean, we have pictures of stripes all over the place, but i've noticed that they are not all quite the same, i've even seen where the portion of the stripe that ends on the back half 1/4pnl is as much as 4" lower than on the door just in front of it or the dogleg.

the Q&A you sent me to did note that the side stripes are applied relative to the center stripe on the hood.... but its the distance to the left or the right of that center stripe--so that the BOSS 302 portion is at the correct height on the fender and the stripes lay at the correct height on the lower portion of the door. the owner of the car will almost certainly show it and if the judges are going to be coming out with a tape measure, we don't want the owner to have to hear over and over again how much the stripes are 'off' if we don't get this right.

Lookin good ,even nekked IB,,,
I would think some checking into Mustang clubs oughta get you some results,
i had to ask the Shelby Club for correct color, placement on twin over the top stripes for my '65 GT-350,,,at the time i did not know the stripes were not uniform in width ,they changed a few times ,to give the illusion of uniformity,,,a constant width would give the optical impression of a un-uniform stripe in width,as it went with the curves of the car,,,
keep trying, i'll do some detective work here too, and let you know if i find out something
