got my tec light w/ 3 bulbs and no acrylic splash guard 
the actinic + arrive in Fl from germany on friday then get shiped here. |

I dont think its is fan cooled, I cant see them. Tec Light 34 is the model. (four bulb)
do you think I dont need the the lens?

If the fixutre is not fan cooled your better off without the lens,.. keeping these bulbs cool is what makes them last so long,.. and if you have the fixture open the bulbs will stay cooler 
I have the Tek Retro,... I don't have anythign covering it,.. and I have a fan moving air through my canopy.
