just from my diving trips, and the gloves I wear for that
I know they were fighting hand fatigue,
4.3psi?
what's normal
and how do you know it's not 4.35?

Well I dont know it wasnt 4.35, I'm sure at some point it got there. The EMU (US suit) is designed to run at 4.3psi, but it fluctuates a little (around 0.1 to 0.05 psi). I wasnt watching the telemetry during the EVA, so I don't know exactly! The Orlan (russian suit) runs at 5.7psi, and the gloves are less ergonomic, so you can't do near as many complicated tasks in the Orlan. But, being a much simpler suit, it can run many more miles before needing service (but they're just thrown away every 3-4 years... the Russians don't have any way to get them home, unlike the US which rotates their suits home for service).
And the wrist mirrors are for checking out the controls on the front of the suit. The numbers and words on the controls are written backwards so they can read them with the mirror (they're the controls for cooling and flow and what-not).

so I'm guessing that 0-1 psi is normal then?
Why do they use the spacewalk to move the JPV (I think that's what they called it)
and then clamp it from inside the station

Well 14.7 psi is normal in the station (just like at sea level on earth), but you wouldnt be able to move if the suit was that high. Normal operating pressure in the suit is 4.3psi, emergency is 3.9psi, and much below that and you're potentially starting to deal with hypoxia.
JPV....? I assume they mean the Japanese Experiment Module (JEM), but the media always uses different acronyms than we do. There are external and internal connections to make, I assume. They do the EVA to get all the power lines, cooling lines, and other hook ups mated as necessary. Docking it is all done robotically, so I can't think of anything that the spacewalking crewmembers do outside other than act as eyes for the robotics operators. I don't know a lot about the JEM, and they'll actually have to move it in a couple months once the Japanese logistics module launches on STS-124 (1J) in May, so I don't know what kind of hardware they have to hook up. I've kind of been out of that loop ever since I started working on lunar return stuff over the last year.
