sniff* another sad death
It is with a heavy heart that I pass on the news of this great icon in the entertainment business. The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and complications from numerous pokes to the belly......he was 71. Mr. Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. A baker's dozen of celebrities turned out to pay their respects........including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the rather fresh Hostess Twinkies and the crusty Captain Crunch. The gravesite was piled high with flours. His favorite Aunt Jamima delivered the eulogy and lovingly described Mr. Doughboy,......" as a person who never realized how much he was kneaded." She went on to say,"Pillsbury Doughboy had risen very quickly in show business.....but later on in life he was subjected to many turnovers." His favorite Aunt Jamima got a little "suruppy" at the end as she continued,"........"He was not considered a very smart cookie because he wasted a lot of his dough on many half-baked schemes..........despite being a little flaky at times, and a bit crusty, he was still considered to be an excellent roll model." Mr. Doughboy is survived by his wife, Play Dough, his two children, John Dough and Jane Dough, and they had even one more in the oven. He is also survived by his elderly father " Pop" Tart.
