partly sunny and 72 degrees and i am stuck at home.. arg... lol. and i can't do anything really constructive
Why stuck at home?

i got a question for you guys. softy and muchroom coral nano. power compacts work? and if so how much would i need for a 20L or a 29 gallon tank?
Powercompacts would work fine,.. but both those tanks are a nightmare to light because of their length. I would probably do 2*55-65W

oh. and could i get away with 4x24 watt t-5ho lights on a 29 gallon tank for sps? trying to decide if i can and am going to do the nano build off.
I would say no,.. but if you got 4 in the great reflectors and put it low to the water you should be fine.

hope everyones day is going good. anyhooo.. back to umm well.. umm guess i need to find something to do.. lol.. laterz
Later!

Afternoon checkin

Well it's not boring today... No one seems to be able to get along or keep their car right-side up...

Hope everyone else's day is going better!

Probably less snow in Phoenix

We had 4" of snow turn to 3" of slush which didn't help with the icy road.

because of the pain killers i am on.. i just had surgery on the first i think or was it the 30th.. i forget which. which is another reason i can't seem to do anything.

the i was thinking about the retro set from reefgeek.com i think i may just go with a softy tank though. just depends on what i can get my hands on. someone just gave my brother a 29 gallon tank. which he may give to me. i really want a sps tank.. lol. i guess i could look at a pendant mh setup or something along those lines

This thread would be a lot further along if everyone would answer all these questions in many more small answers!

When I set up my 29 I used the retros from reefgeek and Whiskey had said in a shorter canopy they would support sps...
