I couldn't swim for an entire summer from ages 8-12
then there is all the I think I broke it scares
and if they weren't broken, that just meant we didn't try hard enough
at a neighbor's house, we wold jump off the garage roof to dive into the pool
another house had a rope swing, we found that if we climb the tree about 20ft up
then we could jump and grab the swing
like a super underdog push

then I turned 16, got my liscense
and a whole new page of stupid showed up
my buddy and I (notice how at 16 they turn into buddies)
we would drive for ever, never intending to do anything wrong
but we would often find ourselfs riding on top of the car when bored
1 would drive, the other would "surf"

yes, I was cursed with twin sons
1 acts almost just the way I did
Connor had his first emergency room stiches at 1 year old
he figured out how to climb out of his crib, so Ian quickly learned it as well
then they decided to try to scale up the dresser
while the dresser could handle 1 toddler hanging from it
the second one pushed it's limit and the dresser fell onto both of them
gashing Connor above the eye
(the dresser was screwed to the wall for the next 3 years)

Do STUPID kid stories count?
When I visited my Uncle TJ, I didn't even go into the house to greet my relatives one day. I went straight out to the pasture to go ride the cows. They saw me coming and they all scattered into 25 different directions. IF I HAD GONE INTO THE HOUSE TO GREET MY RELATIVES, I would have been told this......"Don't go into the pasture because I have the bulls in there for breeding". One cow stayed. I just chased off all of his girlfriends and he was NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!!!!
He pawed the ground just like the cartoons and I'll tell you what....an angry bull can run fast. Luckily, I got out of the pasture alive but only with about a 3 foot window. If the fence had been another 10~15 away, I would have been in some serious trouble. As it was, the electric fence shocked me pretty good as I was climbing over it.

Same farm, different visit.....
One of my uncle's silo's was filled about 15 feet deep with seedcorn. My cousin, brother, and me would drop from the silo's roof into the corn and we would sink up to our necks. I found out as an adult that people have actually been buried alive in wheat or seedcorn and you can literally "drown" in it.
At Tan Tara Resort in Lake of the Ozarks, I hit a rock wall when I took a turn on a moped at 40 MPH that should have been taken at 10 MPH and hit a patch of gravel. Only scars and cracked ribs that time. Don't know how....you should have seen the moped. About this time, I think my guardian angel went to God to request reassignment.

Didn't want to leave him unsupervised the whole day, but a quick trip to the fish store...no worse than letting your kid jump off of roofs, ride your bike across the highway, play with venemous snakes, break multiple bones etc
Ya think?
