Okay, heres what got done today. Tore out the 6' dog ear fence and replaced it with the short picket you see. At each end I am building an arbor for a creeping vine of some sort and on the other side will be a raised bed garden. The beds will be formed with railroad ties.

Thanks! Its 3 years old and 20'x40'. The patio cover has two cieling fans , can lights and hard wired speakers. Its a prettyy nice yard but no where near the size of the one we had at our last house, bot of course its much easier to care for! Once the girls are bigger the pool fencing will come down.

Wow! All these garden projects. Teach, I love that photo of the tyke peeking around the tall day lilies

A couple of weeks ago I had some cutting back and light landscaping done. Now if we only had a few days of rain. Maybe this coming weekend I can post some photos.

Kelli - I love that garden in front of your house.

Perry - I know that you're looking forward to having your own garden at your own house.

Let's all go to Roberts for a swim

Well I had to ask the gardner in the house She said that each bloom lasts one day, but the plant flowers from mid-June to early september here. I guess I learn something every day

LOL

I'm thinking of planting our flower bed with a bulbs or something that comes back each year. I just want it to flower all summer without planting 7 flats every year

(2) A wild type climbing rose from my front house border garden

(3) The overgrown front middle of the yard garden... left to right, maroon hydrangea, Purple smoke tree, silky dogwood...in the back is my neighbor's laundry lol

(4) Some pretty mums from the big pot by the front steps

(5) Flowering vine from a hanging pot on the screenhouse corners

(6) Clematis Henrii (IIRR) from the side garden along the property line
