Yeah, I forgot. A real troll would have re-registered under a different name and this would be his first post.

Yea RC seems to be having many problems lately. It kept bombing me out when trying to post. So I hit the back button. I tried 4 times with no luck. SO I cruised over here for awhile. When I went back 3 of the posts actually had worked -- sort of made that thread a little messy.
Unfortunatly I live in the middle of nowhere and am on a very slow dialup connection. That along w/ RC's speed is total torture most of the time.
Hey TRT loads fast even w/ my slow connection.

I have ALWAYS found RC to be unbearably slow..bewtween that and some of the attitudes there, I rarely go there anymore...that's a shame because there are SOME decent people over there...
and I agree it does make me appreciate TRT more every time I do go there...
so much for my $.02 (adjusted for inflation)

There is a good group of folks over there, but boy howdy, it's been slow for some time. I know they are really struggling with space and server issues.

Thats good to hear!
What is RC?
Tom...um...that's a good idea. Maybe you should bring it up at the next meeting . I'd be more than happy to make room .

I have a cable modem at home and RC is PAINFULLY slow even there.
Here at the shop I have a faster computer but a slower connection (dialup!) so it's excruciating.
I haven't posted much of anything anywhere since Tuesday. Club elections are over and our new exec is jumping in with both feet! Gotta love that!
Now I can get some 'real' work done

Sorry, but it was. Motion was voted down about 20 to 4 to the best of my recollection.

Just to clarify. The motion was brought up but it wasn't exactly voted on. The vote was to either table the motion or to vote on the motion. The motion was tabled for further discussions and reasearch. I know the new exec's are looking into all the available options.

I wondered where this thread had gone...
RC is still slow, better late at night...

I swear I heard a whip cracking in the background as I read that last post....... Or was it a piece of airline tubing snapping?
Cut 'em up, trade 'em out.....
