Rate your local diner/dive

Just wondering if all these places are the same. Here is my brunch rating which was lunch since they close the grill at 11 for breakfast.

Food. D...cold patty with colder chili mostly made of beans and purported to be homemade. It was served without onions and the cheese was right out of the bag grated stuff not melted. The waitress nuked it and returned with onions and tabasco and it was fine. I will give this 2 stars thanks to the waitress recovery.

Waitstaff. MMR members take your nitroglycerin pills before you read this. She was maybe 20, 5 foot tall and 90 lbs soaking wet with pigtails and pink barettes. Add the fact that she had nine tables and the service was impeccable and man oh man. 5 stars out of 5

Ambience. This was good except for the cheesy bubble gum machines hogging the table with some win something contest stickers all over. The place had mismatched tablecloths and silverware and my coffee cup had a chip in it. 4 stars out of 5

Clientele. This was pretty much a slice of Americana. I didn't have a hat but my raggedy jeans and boots and a knife hopefully were enough. Saw all kinds of folks in there from cowboys to working men to someone on crack or something. 4 out of 5

Price. All this for eight bucks plus a 5 dollar tip. Did I mention the waitress was adorable beyond words?
