Pumpkins!
I haven't carved a pumpkin in years.....I did this one tonight. Pretty easy with those pumkin master templates and tools.
Here it is unlit:
and a slightly blurry lit pic:
Hmmmmm we could have a pumpkin carving contest
I know I could do better than this

Very nice Brooke!
I get to carve pumpkins every year...it's one of the advantages to having kids. Although we have the "you catch em, you clean em rule" at our house. I do not remove the guts of anyone else's punkin but my own! LOL
We did one last year where you cut small holes in a pattern on the pumpkin and then put clear marbles into the holes. It looks really neat when lit.

wow
I'm the official pumpkin carver of my family, but I have never done anything as cool as that!! Way nice. Great job.
This year, I had the typical evil eyes and nose, but instead of a mouth, I spelled out the word WELCOME as the teeth in as evil writting as I could draw. It came out well, but still pales in comparison to yours. Thanks for sharing.
Mike

I used to give Halloween gifts to my friends and family. I would use a jigsaw to carve their names in the pumpkins. Jigsaw made it quick and easy to do the letters. Although I never did get a pumpkin big enough to fit my Grandparent's last name of "MacClanathan" on there!
And oh yeah, cleaning the jigsaw wasn't much fun after LOL

Brooke,
That is one cool punkin!
Steve,
Some fine carving there!
FishGirl and I have always enjoyed picking out the pumpking and making the Jack O'Lantern. She does the design and I do the carving.
This is FishGirl's 2002 Jack O'lantern:
Hope everyone has a Happy Halloween!
