Sigh.
On the one hand, I feel bad for the woman who lost everything in her tank. On the other hand, anyone who would take the word of one person, working for minimum wage in a store that does not specialize in salt water, on what to put into a tank with $$$ invested...well, that was a disaster in the making.
On the one hand, I feel bad for that person making minimum wage, who might have been transferred over from the reptile department for the day, and had no clue what she/he was doing. On the other hand, if they didn't know, they should have said "I don't know." (I've come to the conclusion that most people find that phrase harder to say than "I'm sorry" and they'd rather say "I'm sorry" later than admit to ignorance.)

I don't feel sorry for P*tco at all. They need to train their people better.
