Prayers needed
Hey everyone,
I'm not really sure how to start this, as we've never been in this position before, but Andy and I would really appreciate all the thoughts and prayers ya'll can muster. He experienced a sudden onset of abdominal pain Saturday, and has been hospitalized with a severe case of pancreatitis ever since. He's not showing a whole lot of improvement yet, either, so it looks like he may be there awhile.
I'm trying to stay with him, but working 12 hour shifts and managing the household just isn't conducive to this. He's got 3 great teams of docs working on him, but we've never dealt with anything like this before. Thankfully, my mom is flying in tomorrow to help. His parents may be coming down as well.
Thanks for letting me vent; this has been a rough week. We consider some of you as close as family, so he thought you should know.

I'm so sorry to hear about Andy's illness. I'm sure he's getting the best care possible and sincerely hope for his full and speedy recovery.
Please give him my best and let him know that he's in my prayers. You're in them too as I know how rough this is for you.

Thanks so much for letting us know what is going on with Andy! I'm sure it has been a difficult time, emotionally and physically. You are both in my prayers for healing and comfort. And prayers for the attending physicians.
Good that family will be around to help.

Daniele, hopefully this will get to you after learning of some good news, I know some of what Andys going thru and wish him the very best, you as well , it goes without saying, my prayers and positive thoughts go out to you both

Good luck you two, now is not the time for this kinda stuff to be happening, but I'M SURE YOU'LL BOTH PULL THROUGH THIS. Has the Internal med team said anything about his long term outlook?
( you kinow this happened because you guys abandoned the LUCKY orange chair...)
I hope this resolves quickly for the two of you so you can get back to the business of enjoying Florida as a semitropical paradise (OK, so the traffic is a bit stiff at times...)
I think of the two of you often and miss you both. My prayers are for you.
