posting question?

I was trying to post a thread from another forum as a post reply to a question here. But for some reason all I get is the HTTP address. It is not hilighted to click on. When trying to post it, I clicked on http://, then paste, OK and closed tags, but nothing. What am I doing wrong?? Any help here is appreciated, thanks.

The first box that pops up when you hit the http button is asking you what you'd like to name/title the link, type that in and then another box will pop up for you to post the actually link. You should see it come up in the text in the reply screen.
