I can't say that I ever did... I didnt hang out with those guys outside of work! Beer and me don't mix too well either... mostly because I don't really care for the taste of alcohol in the slightest. Although some of the vodka I've had in Moscow was surprisingly tasty, but it could have been the environment (giving toasts surrounded by cosmonauts in the training facilities at GCTC is a moment you recognize will only happen a very limited number of times in your life).

Now I settle on a good root beer (even though Doug hates it!).

That's my problem,.. I love the taste of acohol,.. so since I don't really get smashed anymore I want to really taste it,.. Normally I have Whiskey on the rocks,.. but Vodka the same way is good too I do sometimes drink beer,.. I love the taste of it too,.. but normally I go for the harder stuff.

I can enjoy a dark beer (guiness) if it's still very cold. Once it warms up a bit, I only finish it so that my friends don't start calling me a lady. Not that there's anything wrong with the ladies...

Here's a good ol' tease. I'm headed out for a few hours.

Beer warm or cold is still beer Some of my treasured memories involve sitting around a campfire with a warm 40 of Steal in my hand.

You never tried it either? Huh. I never tried the ones that can do perminate damage,.. but the fairly harmless ones I did at least once,.. just to see what the fuss was about.

But then,.. of course,.. I've always had friends that were huge into it,.. always on something,.. so I could get anything I wanted any time,.. I just never really enjoyed it as much as they seemed to.

No work yet until Thursday! Not enough people to do the orientation. So I guess I will have to go to the beach and study the tide pools since I don't have a tank to look at
Amy ...how are the ponies?

Where are all my arthritis buddies? I am in the middle of a killer flare up! My knees, shoulders and wrists. Hot ****, have you ever tried to function on a daily basis without the use of all those body parts? It is not easy

First the MH bulb burnt out. We replaced that only to find that we couldn't get it to fire up at all. Figured it was the ballast, so the sales rep shipped us a new ballast. Plugged that in ... NO difference! Still didn't work. Call sales rep back and he said to call tech support to get their advice. Tech support thought it was the ignitor, so they mailed us a new one. I replaced it the other day. Fired up the light and woohoo it worked!!! Walked out of the room for 20 minutes and upon my return the MH isn't lit anymore. Can't get it to fire up again. Now the actinics are acting funky too.

There is not much more to replace in one of those things.
