Tim,
Your secret ploy to keep me from going on vacation is not gonna work. I'm sorry that I won't be here to host the Gwen Show for the next 2 saturdays, but posting links like this isn't gonna stop my vacation. Go ahead with your next scheme, try and get a hurricane blowing.... i dare you!! The Mariner will SAIL SAIL SAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Matt,
Thank you! We are sailing on the Mariner- a Royal Caribbean ship. It's one of the mega ships. This fleet of ships in the Voyager class are the 2nd largest crusie ships, at least until they finish building the Freedom- the ultra mega ship!! We were on the Navigator last year, a sister ship of the Mariner.
Only a few more days!! I'm sooooooooooo excited!!!
Matt, who do you normally sail with?

Hi Gwen, just done a search for the mariner of the sea and that is a BIG ship!! 138.000 tons, she's a big girl ! We sail with P&O from southampton in the UK, weve been on Aurora a few times at 76.000 tons but this is our first time on Oceana at 77.000 tons
We are meeting oceana at barbados on the 23rd of december for 15 nights, like i said we normally depart and arrive at southampton but if we done that on a caribbean cruise we'd miss too many islands at sea, we would only get 5+ ports if we cruised from the uk but as its a fly cruise we are getting 11 ports of call :-)
Looks like from the site i visited the royal caribbean sometimes sails from the UK ??
Matt

I'm the same as you Gwen but opposite ( if that makes sense) I normally cruise Europe but would love to cruise around America all the time, hopefully my first longhaul flight to barbados will be a calm easy flight then i could travel to America one day? ( really hate flying)
Must admit we have booked our next year cruise around the mediteranean and one of our ports of call is port Said and a visit to the pyramids in Egypt which has always been a dream of mine
I'm sure i'll bump into you oneday in Europe on a ship Gwen
Take good care and have a great cruise
Matt
