Photo Altering Help

I took this pic of Violet and I really like it. Except the people in the background. Is there a way to photoshop (or something) to remove the people and add the trees like in the right side of the photo? I have zero photo editing skills and would gladly email someone the full size version (it was taken at 6 megapixels) if anyone can clean up the back ground for me.
Thanks

Hi, Kelli,

I'm not that good at editing but gave it a try. I sent you the full size but here's a lower resolution version.

Violet sure is a beautiful child.

You're quite welcome, Kelli. I'll have to be more careful what I put there if Violet's looking!

Beautiful photo!! Yep, Dick got it fixed for you very nicely! Photoshop Pro is the program I use to do all my photo-editing... and it's an excellent tool for removing or adding people from photos.

Using anything more than a little fill flash would overpower the natural light and create a washed out look and ruin the effect. I think the slight shadow helps add dimension to the shot

Beautiful pic of Violet Kelli. And Dick was obviously being a little modest about his lack of editing skills, as i think he did a pretty darn good job.

I have photoshop 6 but dont know anything about it. What tool did you use to do that Fishdaddy?

Thanks, everybody. It's hard to mess up a picture of the beautiful Violet.

Bill, I use PaintShopProX. It has just about all the features and tools of PhotoShop at 1/4th the price.

Love photoshop. I had it on my old hp and used it all the time. The new pc doesn't have it so now I am having to learn the new software that came with my compaq. It is okay I just have to learn to use it. Very nice pic Kelli.
