Peeping Tom Confessions
I was walking this evening and noticed the blue glow all true reefer's know
from across the street.
I doubled back and went past again for a closer look at the new reef tank in the neiborhood.
am I alone on this?

Havn't done that. Not to many around here tho. I have wondered about the bright light coming from the neighbor's tho. That window isn't accessible tho, and hard to explain walking thru their yard with a ladder.

If I see bright lights around me, it could be something different.
Last Halloween the police stopped by to check what my lights were all about. I invited tehm in and all they wanted to do is look at the tank. They sadi they found other things growing near "those type" of lights.

Did you tell the cops that you can tell the difference (usually) if the glow has a shimmering to it?
My neighbor actually asked me about 3 weeks ago about the blue light glowing from our windows. She shares the house with another couple and their kids and she works odd shifts and had noticed it. The guy in the house had guessed it was fish tanks and just today came and asked if he could come in and see them as he use to have 2 SW tanks some years ago.

That's great! Nope, no one else in my neighborhood.
Though I think I can see Tom's tank glowing from 10 miles away

Dope growers dont use actinics, and generally hide the MH in a closet or basement
On a funny note I got to know a lot of the old deputies when I was in search and rescue in years past. We were talking about MH on tanks and they told me of several people that bought confiscated MH light setups and paid with a check.
Ummmmmmmm they were not into reef tanks

can't say that I have. BUt that's cause none of my neighbors have tanks.
I have NO doubt that given those circumstances...I'd have done the same thing.

You should go back and leave a not on the door telling them that you have a tank too... then invite them to TRT.
When i help out at the shop I sell TRT as much as i sell fish

the only blue glow you see around here is the light from the plasma TV the welfare junkies bought with their last state check

When the lights are on my tank can be seen from the street
Very definite that it's a fish tank
